On September 16th, 1994, God blessed mine and my family by giving Syafiqah, my younger sister. She was born into a family of five: my father, a wonderful and encouraging man, my mother, a beautiful and selfless woman, my great older sister, my naughty brother and me—a typical five year old girl. Though I was very young, this was a day that changed my life forever. I remember holding her when she was born and just being so proud of her. Syafiqah is a very special, very unique person. There are many qualities that God blessed my sister with, that truly set her apart from so many others. When she was one year old, she had truly hard time because she gets high fever at very young age that changed her life forever. Doctor actually cannot recognize her specific illness and she need to do water injection for spinal. However the situation become critical when doctor said that she confirmed had damage on her nervous system and may caused she lost her ability to walk. It was a very difficult period for us, as we were forced to fight against time, stress, and hidden emotions to treat my sister. My parent never gives up and tries many ways to cure her illness. Almost her whole life only depends on therapy method and God blessed her; she can walk at her fifth birth anniversary. Although she can walk but it slightly different from other normal people and my sister was categorized as O.K.U person. Syafiqah is one of the silliest people that I have ever met who often times doesn’t care what others think of her, just so long as she is having fun .She need lots of attentions from our family. I love her so much and no other person can replace her position in my family forever. I’d just pray to God for blessing her life and give her chances to enjoy her life with people who love her. This experience made me learn what truly means making sacrifices for person that we loved. It wasn’t an easy sacrifice that my parent has done to raising us. Besides, the most important thing is the positive lesson it taught me, that is never gives up fighting, no matter what happens because there is a hope for everything in life. Syafiqah, I just want to say I love you and I wish you always in the pink of health. I'll going back soon, so stay healthy okay
